PULSE by UrSpayce — The IoT layer for the workplace
PULSE · IoT & LoRaWAN

Give your workplace a pulse.

The IoT layer for the physical workplace.

Connected-hardware products on one patented private LoRaWAN network — presence, safety, occupancy, assets and environment, sensed in real time. Works up to 1 km, fully offline, with one device that is both gateway and server.

What PULSE senses

Every signal your space is already giving off.

Presence & geofencing

Know who and what is where — live zones, boundaries and dwell time.

Safety & breach alerts

Instant alerts when someone enters a hazard zone or a boundary is crossed.

Occupancy & utilization

Count people and measure how space is really used, in real time.

Asset tracking

Locate tagged assets and equipment across the entire site.

Environment & energy

Sense temperature, humidity, air quality and energy continuously.

One live dashboard

Every signal — people, assets, environment — on one operations view.

How it works

From the field to the alarm, in real time.

1

Sense

Battery IoT tags and sensors read the physical world — presence, motion, environment.

2

Transmit

Signals travel over UrSpayce's patented private LoRaWAN — up to 1 km, no public internet.

3

Process

One device is both gateway and server — it runs fully offline, on-site.

4

Act

Live dashboards and instant alerts turn signals into safety and savings.

The private network

One patented private network.

PULSE runs on UrSpayce's own private LoRaWAN — long-range, low-power radio that reaches up to a kilometre and needs no public internet. One ruggedised device is both the gateway and the server, so the whole system keeps running even when the network doesn't.

The UrSpayce platform

PULSE is one of five layers.

The IoT layer connects natively to workplace apps, computer vision, AI agents and procurement — one platform, five layers, no integrations to build.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is UrSpayce PULSE?
UrSpayce PULSE is the IoT sensing layer of the platform — the nervous system that streams real-time presence, occupancy, utilisation and safety signals from gates, zones and devices so spaces are managed live rather than from stale data.
What can PULSE sense?
PULSE senses live occupancy and presence, space and desk utilisation, safety-zone status, and asset location, turning physical activity across your buildings into real-time workplace signals.
Does PULSE require new hardware?
Not necessarily. PULSE is designed to work with your existing sensors, access control and building systems where possible, and can add IoT tags or sensors only where you need coverage you don't already have.
What is geofencing in PULSE?
Geofencing lets PULSE define virtual boundaries around a site or zone and detect when people or assets enter or leave — used for touchless attendance, zone-based access and safety, without manual check-ins.
How does PULSE improve space utilisation?
By measuring how desks, rooms and floors are actually used in real time, PULSE shows where capacity is wasted or constrained, so facilities teams can right-size space, cut cost and free up desks on demand.
Is PULSE data real-time?
Yes. PULSE streams signals continuously, so occupancy dashboards, safety zones and utilisation metrics reflect what is happening right now rather than a periodic report.
How does PULSE work with the rest of UrSpayce?
PULSE feeds live data into the wider platform — informing desk and room booking (NEXUS), triggering AI agent actions (AWNI) and complementing computer vision (VISTA) — so sensing drives real workflows.
